Winter in Israel

January 2015 brought a winter storm to the country; so unlike the usually warm Israel, even in winter time.

Snow on Mount MeronSnow up north, the Hermon mountain gained a few more centimeters of snow and families traveled to enjoy the snow, while rain and cold swept all over the country.

The cold weather reached very low degrees; even 0 degrees – in Jerusalem and in high mountains; a weather-features that had enabled snow, hail and other flakes.
