Ein Evrona is an ancient well that is located on the edge of the Evrona salt marsh. In times gone by the water would rise and overflow onto the surrounding countryside.

Nowadays the well is dry due to the drop in the level of the ground water.
Ein Evrona

Upon arrival to Ein Evrona one sees a series of round mounds with a kind of circle in between.
This is a method of an underground water- system which dates back to the ancient Muslim period.

It is based on a two-thousand-year-old Persian method that is still used today- in Iran.
